Favorite Music, Artists, Genres:

I like certain selections of classical music. I don't listen to much music any more. I prefer instrumentals over singing.
Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:

I like a wide variety of books but prefer fiction for relaxation. I read books ranging from exciting tales of adventure to love stories, and westerns.
Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres:

The genre isn't as important to me as the quality of the story, production and acting., I hate movies about teenagers and their problems.
Favorite TV Shows, Actors:

Almost everything on Hallmark channel. I have given up trying to find anything to enjoy on the four major networks. If I like it, they will cancel it.
Favorite Places:

Right here at this Indian horse camp.
Interests and Activities:

History - Animals - History of the American Indian tribes. I like reading, writing, enjoying nature, collecting topics to write about, enjoying the company of my cats and dogs, occasional horses and cows that pass by, oh yes - some people.

U. S. Navy, Winchester Repeating Arms, Douglas Aircraft, General Electric, Armor Meatpacking. I worked 23 years for the Federal Government Civil Service at the SeaBee base in Port Hueneme CA and for the U. S. Treasury Customs Service in San Diego's Federal Bldg.

1 incomplete year nurses training at St Lukes Hospital, NYC. Otherwise, only single classes at junior colleges. Most of what I know I learned from reading extensivelmost

Dear Ruth, I'm so sorry my father's WWII article saddened you. You are one of the few who will read it and have firsthand knowledge of the pain of that war--all war. I'm glad that you survived to live your life, you add so much to mine with your fine writing. Thank you for your selfless service.
